The Alumni Regional Summit is a multi-day event that brings together alumni from different countries within a specific region to network, collaborate, and grow. The summit focuses on cross-country collaboration within the region. This edition is for the East Africa region and will take place in Nairobi Kenya, on June 5th–6th, 2026.

The summit primarily targets alumni who are either of East African nationalities or are based within the region: Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe

Alumni from outside West Africa are welcome to attend, but the conversation is designed for East African alumni

The Pitch-den is a competition for Mastercard alumni with ventures to win grants that help scale or launch their ventures.

Prizes for winners:

Winners are selected on the second day of the summit from a pool of 10 semi-finalists, all of whom are fully sponsored to attend the summit (all expenses covered).
